These rubies are cut into matching ovals that weight 0.67 and 0.68 Carats for a total weight of 1.36 Carats. They are from the uncommon origin of the Kashmir Pakistan where they occasionally find these top quality rubies large enough to facet. This pair of rubies have not been heated/treated in any way and they face up clean to the eye which is not common at all for this deposit. Under 10 power magnification there are many crystals, feathers and graphite inclusions which is to be expected for untreated material from any source. The color is a vivid pigeon blood red in person. The color match is not perfect but it is very close and mounted in jewelry the color difference will not really be noticeable.
